To connect in pastoral ministry with middle school and high school students and their families with an emphasis on discipleship, planning, leading, promoting, and teaching.



  1. Utilize and develop current programs and activities in the First Baptist Student Ministry to continue and increase Kingdom impact and growth.
  2. Regularly initiate meeting with youth workers and student leaders for the purpose of training, planning, equipping, and discipleship.
  3. Planning, organizing, and attending purposeful activities for middle school and high school students.
  4. Enlist and equip leaders for Sunday morning Bible study in middle school and high school.
  5. Leading, training, and further developing Student Ministry Home Groups.
  6. Plan, organize, and attend camps, mission projects, special events, and outings.
  7. Build relationships with parents of middle school and high school students and equip them to disciple their children.
  8. Stay active in the current network with other area youth pastors.
  9. Help project and manage an annual ministry budget.
  10. Aggressively pursue personal, spiritual, and professional growth.
  11. Regularly visit the middle school and high school to encourage students.
  12. Serve in a team environment with other pastoral staff to help fulfill the overall vision of the church.
