JOB DESCRIPTION:
KCC is seeking a Lead Pastor who will lead the vision and mission of the church forward, preach and teach, train and equip the people to do the works of ministry, and be the key motivator for the church under the governance style called "staff led, elder protected."
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Be a dynamic and inspiring lead pastor.
- Start a small group ministry with sermon-based discussions and studies.
- Restart a contemporary service.
- Hire and fire your staff while being the visionary leader of the church.
- Train and equip the people to do the work of ministry.
- We seek a leader/delegator-type pastor more than a shepherding type.
- A pastor who leads by example is adventurous and fun.
COMPENSATION:
52,000 plus parsonage and benefits
