What you will do!

  • You will deliver education to CPE students.
  • You will use effective communication skills to keep people informed by attending and meetings related to CPE program, maintaining minutes, following up with actions identified.
  • You will support and maintain Treatment Services mission, goals, policies and procedures.
  • You will coordinate the clinical Pastoral Education services program including such duties as Adapt, implement, evaluate and recommend strategies for Spiritual Care services; Adapt program priorities and direction; Monitor legislative changes as associated with the Spiritual Service delivery within the institution and ACPE standards; Provide written reports about program compliance and recommend methods for improving program outcomes.
  • You will monitor and ensure skill competency for CPE trainees related to scope of practice and standards of practice related to evaluation, treatment and consultation.
  • You will promote and integrate current evidence based and emerging best practice models related to the delivery of Spiritual Care by CPE trainees.
  • You will educate and collaborate with other disciplines within and outside of the Treatment Services Department

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years’ experience coordinating or administering a program
    OR any combination of experience or education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.
  • The above must include minimum of four units of Clinical Pastoral Education with minimum of three years relevant pastoral experience.
  • Hold an accredited MDiv or equivalent.
  • Hold accreditation with ACPE for Educator Certification.
  • Board certified by Association of Professional Chaplains.
  • Be ordained, credentialed and endorsed by a recognized faith group.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining a work environment that is respectful and accepting of diversity among team members and the people we serve.
  • Ability to give/receive input, ability for clear communication and effective facilitation of CPE Training.
  • Ability to demonstrate professional conduct in all actions.
  • Ability to solve problems in a productive manner without sacrificing good judgment or best solutions.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear, concise manner.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to individual personality styles of staff, needs of the department and the hospital organization.
  • Ability to independently manage own time and resources to accomplish goals and expectation.
  • Ability to use computer technology to develop data and improve productivity.

$4221.00 - $6162.00 Salary Range per month
