Jamestown Baptist Church seeks a Part-Time Minister of Youth (G6-G12 ages) or a Full-Time Minister of Youth and Students (G6-G12 ages and K-G5 ages). The successful applicant will direct and oversee the youth and students ministry to insure an effective and smoothly operating program designed to lay a foundation that will keep the youth and students interested in the things of God and involved in the church. A part-time candidate can expect to work alongside parents and full-time staff to support the student ministry. The ministry should address itself to reaching the lost and discipling believers.


  • Must be a person who has had a personal salvation experience with Christ and one who professes Jesus Christ as both Savior and Lord.
  • The character and testimony of this person must be mature and above reproach
  • Must be a Bible-believing, theologically conservative Southern Baptist who will become a member of Jamestown Baptist Church.
  • Must be able to represent Jamestown Baptist Church in a Christ-like spirit at all times.
  • Must have a passion for ministry and be committed to the responsibilities of the position be accepted.
  • A 4-year degree in a Ministry related field is desirable but not required.
  • Must be called to Youth Ministry.
  • At the request of the Senior Pastor, will assist in leading worship.
  • Prior Youth and/or Student Ministry experience is preferred
