JOB DESCRIPTION:

Lake Village Baptist is seeking a passionate Worship/Associate Pastor to join our team. The Worship Pastor will play a crucial role in leading our worship team and congregation on Sunday mornings in worship. As Associate Pastor, this person needs to have a heart for people and be able to come alongside the pastor to provide pastoral care as needed. The position will also have some administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Worship: Plan, oversee and lead weekly worship services.
• Worship Team Management: Recruit, train, and shepherd a team of musicians and vocalists.
• Production Oversight: Oversee the sound, lighting, and media outlets to ensuring a high-quality worship experience for all services and events.
• Pastoral Duties: Come alongside the pastor to assist in ministering to the needs of the congregation. There will be preaching and teaching responsibilities if applicate desires to preach or teach.
• Community Engagement: Be an active participant in community activities and events to build relationship in an effort to reach the lost.

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership in worship ministry, with experience leading congregational worshi.
• Proficiency in a variety of worship styles and genres.
• Experience overseeing the creative direction and production of worship services.
• Knowledge of modern worship technology (sound systems, lighting, media, etc.).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with church leadership and volunteers.
• A heart for ministry and a passion for reaching the local community through worship in Word and music.
