JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minister to Families, First Southern Baptist Church, Clarksville, IN

First Southern Baptist Church of Clarksville Indiana, a mature congregation with hope and promise of stepping into our next phase of life in and ministry to a new generation, is seeking a part-time Minister to Families. This is someone who can serve the Lord by helping lead and equip the church to serve, win for Christ, love, and grow believers of all ages, especially younger families.

Responsibilities include overseeing the children and youth ministries; planning events, programs, and ministries that train and equip people and families in Christian life and ministry; and serving as a “minister-at-large” to the congregation.

This part-time assignment has some flexibility, and facets of it are negotiable.

The part-time Minister to Families serves under the oversight and direction of the senior pastor. He is expected to be a team player, working in harmony and fellowship with the other church leadership and teams of the church.

Plan for a time commitment of approximately 20 hrs. per week

Salary is negotiable.
