JOB DESCRIPTION:

Buffat Heights Baptist is seeking a full-time worship pastor. We are a medium sized
church in Knoxville, TN. Our worship is generally contemporary, our congregation is multi
generational. The position involves all responsibilities related to worship leadership including growing and developing the worship team (musicians and vocalists) as well as working with a choir. Other responsibilities include media, audio visual and AV team leadership.

All staff members handle other areas of responsibilities outside of their primary roles, those to be determined based on the candidate’s talents, abilities and experience as well as the needs of the church. The worship pastor works alongside of the other staff under the leadership of the senior pastor.

Candidates should have a deep love for Christ and His church people. Candidates must view the platform as an opportunity for worship leadership not performance.
