Worship Services: Sunday Morning, Weekday Evening Prayer Meeting

Are you a Southern Baptist pastor with a heart for small churches and a rural community in a thriving college town? Grace Baptist Church in the very center of Middlebury, Vermont, is seeking a pastor who is called to shepherd our church with a servant's heart, a love for God’s Word, and a passion for reaching our community with the Gospel.

The ideal candidate will uphold the doctrine and values of the Southern Baptist Convention and affirm the Baptist Faith and Message (2000). He will be a man who meets the biblical qualifications of I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.

About Our Church: Grace Baptist Church began in 1980 and has continued in faith for more than 40 years. Recently, the Lord called our former Pastor, Robert Henley, of 40 years, to be with Him in glory. Though saddened by this loss, we are moving forward as a faithful body of believers committed to the Gospel and to serving our local community. We’ve averaged 35-40 attendees until recently, with college students graduating and those who have moved away, we are averaging 20-25 attendees.

Services include: Sunday morning service, weekly evening Prayer Meeting and Children's Church during Sunday Service.

We are primarily seeking a retired or bi-vocational candidate. Candidates will either need to have or pursue additional employment or be retired with supplemental income. With this in mind, please know we are looking for a shepherd, not just a Sunday morning preacher.
