JOB DESCRIPTION:

Part Time Music Director/Leader

The candidate should have a clear testimony of Faith in Jesus Christ and a committment to Southern Baptist life and doctrine. The candidate must have strong vocal abilities and an understanding of directing vocalists, instrumentalists, and the congregation in a blended worship setting. Strengths in organizing, motivating and leading volunteers with grace and excellence is a must.

Responsibilities include: working closely with the Senior Pastor to insure the music aligns with worship. The applicant will also plan and lead worship services that honor God and engage the congregation. They also must have the ability to promote music programs within the Church and community. Being able to assist with all technology needs for music and worship is also needed.
