Ministry Job Details

This position if for a fulltime Sr. Pastor responsible for the primary preaching, teaching, & administration of church business. This role is supported by a part-time Administrative Assistant as well as volunteer Elders, Deacons, and Treasurer.

• 1 Timothy 3:1-7 Qualifications for Overseers (Pastors)
  • Above reproach
  • Husband of one wife (faithful)
  • Sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable
  • Hospitable
  • Able to teach
  • Not a drunkard
  • Not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome
  • Not a lover of money
  • Manages his own household well, with children under control 
  • Not a recent convert 
  • Well thought of by outsiders
• Masters of Divinity
• 5 Yrs preaching/teaching and demonstrably good at it with multiple examples 
• A strict adherence biblically based teaching
• A passion for evangelism and discipleship 
• Doctrinal alignment with the CBC constitution and statement of faith
