JOB DESCRIPTION:
First Baptist Church of Surfside Beach is seeking a full-time Worship Pastor to lead and cultivate a vibrant culture of worship both in our Sunday gatherings and throughout the life of the church.
Our church currently offers two blended worship services each Sunday morning, led by a praise team with choir support. The Worship Pastor will provide leadership and oversight for all worship-related ministries, including the praise team, choir, and media team, helping create a unified and Christ-centered worship experience.
In addition to worship leadership, this role includes pastoral responsibilities such as discipleship, outreach, and other ministry duties as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications:
- A growing and mature relationship with Jesus Christ
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities
- Experience in worship ministry preferred
- Master’s degree and ministry experience preferred
COMPENSATION:
$50,000-$65,000 yearly, dependent on experience and qualifications
